Safaris with Botswana Footprints

We offer a range of different options for your holiday to Botswana. An African safari is always an amazing way to see wildlife that you may miss on the usual tourist routes throughout the National Parks. Safaris allow you to visit private concessions, wildlife areas preserved only for specialist guides. You will gain a wealth of knowledge from your safari guides, which completely enriches your safari experience.

Botswana’s government has implemented a High Cost, Low Impact tourism model. This allows exclusivity in the bush, and unlike other countries having many vehicles around one animal, you will be able to explore the bush and wildlife in a pristine state. Enquire with us and let us know what you’re looking for and we can tailor make a safari package for you.

Scheduled Guided Mobile Safaris

These are set dates throughout the year and safaris run for a set number of days. It is a camping safari in dome style canvas tents with stretcher beds and special ablution tents. Options include a participation safari where you help with the camping duties to save on the costing of the safari. A Semi-luxury camping safari is one in which a bundle of camphands will ensure you are well catered for and taken care of on your adventure. This is a wonderful way of meeting new people and enjoying your African experience together. A guide will chauffer you through the bush, and you’ll arrive back to a fully erect campsite in the evenings to reminisce around the campfire.

Areas visited differ on each safari but include the attractions of Botswana (The Moremi, Nxai Pan, Makgadigadi, Savuti, Khwai, Tsodilo Hills, Central Kalahari and Chobe areas) as well as some tours including Namibia, and Zimbabwe (Victoria Falls).

Private & Exclusive Guided Mobile Safaris

These safaris are completely exclusive to you, your travel partners and family. A private guide will collect you from the airport and guide you through the amazing sights of Botswana.

Your camp will be set up for you and all your meals and drinks will be catered for. You will be able to enjoy your safari in areas not accessible to most others whilst learning from an experienced and expert guide. To reach these remote wildlife-rich areas, this safari is classified as Semi-luxury (although you have a private guide with camphands to setup and cater for you, you are ultimately still on a camping safari). We are sure the exclusivity of this safari and the amount of wildlife you see will make up for the exclusion of any luxuries.

A variation of this is a privately-guided Lodging Safari, in which an experienced guide can take you from lodge to lodge, should a luxury holiday be your first choice.

Lodging Safaris

We can book most lodges in Botswana. Tell us the areas where you would like to visit, your budget and the number of days you have to travel and we can tailor-make a safari for you. Transfers between all lodges whether by road or air will be organised for you.

Professional guides can be hired to collect you from the airport and escourt you on private game drives from lodge to lodge. Each lodge in Botswana has it’s own characteristics and feel and we can make suggestions based on your needs. The lodges cover many diverse habitats and offer unique perspectives and ways to experience the wilderness.

Photographic Safaris

We offer Photographic Safaris with specialist guides on specialised vehicles. Either Game Drives throughout Botswana with photographic guides, or on modified boats with side-seats and tripod mounts along the Chobe River. Various well-known photographers offer their services in guiding these safaris and they bring a wealth of knowledge.

Some safaris include the use of photographic equipment as well. These can either be based at various lodges or as part of a privately guided mobile camping safari.

Safaris for the aged or Mobility / hearing and vision impared

In addition to the magical journeys we create for all our clients, we have a unique safari that specializes in accessible travel for persons with disabilities: including mobility, visual and hearing impairment.

There are scheduled tours available or these can be tailor-made and exclusive. Vehicles and camping equipment are modified for your comfort and lodges well equipped.

Motorbike Safaris & Helicopter (or charter plane) Safaris
