Cresta Marang Hotel

The Cresta Marang Hotel in Francistown is on the banks of the Tati River and is a charming country hotel popular with tourists and business executives. There are 57 air-conditioned rooms and all accommodation (except campsites) are en-suite and equipped with tea/coffee-making facilites and satellite TV. A maximum of one child under 12 can stay for free if a family room is available and they share with their parents.

The Cresta Marang Hotel is surrounded by beautiful gardens that attract many birds. Guests have the use of the swimming pool with its pool bar (offering light snacks) on the banks of the Tati River. The restaurant can accommodate up to 100 guests and serves a buffet breakfast and lunch, as well as an a la carte dinner. The quaint Fox and Hound Cocktail Bar is open till late and offers light snacks. There is also a popular casino in the Cresta Marang Hotel in Francistown, Botswana, with the latest in casino slot machines.

Woodlands Stopover

Situated on the site of the original "Hunters' Road" previously travelled by hunters, naturalists, explorers and missionaries on their way to the Victoria Falls in the 18th Century, Woodlands makes an ideal stop over en-route to the Okavango Swamps, Chobe Game Reserve, Central Kalahari, Makgadigadi Pans, Botswana National Parks and Victoria Falls.

A fully furnished Woodlands cottage and eight beautifully furnished en-suite Riverview rooms with kitchenette containing appliances, crockery and cutlery, fridge and microwave. Crisp clean bedding is provided. There are also six comfortably tiled chalets with two beds (linen provided), electricity with tea/coffee facilities available and seven lawned campsites with individual braai sites and power and water points.

A sparkling swimming pool ensures you remain cool in the midday heat and a large variety of Botswana birds and animals can be sighted or heard such as the Woodlands kingfisher, Kudu, Impala, Duiker and many others.
